34^TH ANNUAL CONDENSED MATTER AND MATERIALS MEETING

We are pleased to announce that the 2010 Wagga Wagga meeting will be held in New Zealand, on Waikeke Island at the Waiheke Island Resort, Auckland. The conference will take place from Tue the 2^nd to Fri the 5^th of February 2010.

Registration & welcome drinks will be in the afternoon on Tue the 2nd followed by a dinner. The scientific program will start on Wed the 3^rd. The conference dinner will be held on Thu the 4^th, at The Dunes. The program will conclude with lunch on Fri 5^th. The Waiheke Island Resort Accommodation includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

This meeting is an opportunity for all condensed matter and materials scientists to meet in an informal atmosphere to discuss their current research, future direction and other matters of importance in the field. The traditional informal Wagga format will also apply here in NZ, with emphasis on contributed poster papers plus a number of invited oral papers and selected contributed oral papers. Students are particularly encouraged to submit oral presentations. The Organising Committee would welcome suggestions concerning invited speakers to deliver broad keynote presentations and, depending on submitted papers, the program will comprise some focussed sessions such as soft-matter science, studies of surfaces and interfaces, photonics, etc. As this is the first time since 2001 that the 'Wagga' meeting is held again in New Zealand we would like to invite you to take this special opportunity to enjoy an interesting scientific program at a wonderful and characteristic New Zealand location.
